USA Cricket is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Women’s Selection Panel. The primary responsibility of the panel would be to identify talent via our domestic pathways to form competitive and successful national teams at the under-19 and senior women’s levels.

A thorough process was followed to choose the following five selectors:

● Joan Alexander-Serrano (Chair), PA – 3 years
● Erica Rendler, CA – 3 years
● Rajeshwari Antani, TX – 3 years
● Akhtar Masood Syed, IL – 3 years
● Jyotsna Patel, FL – 2 years

Collectively, the panel provides geographic representation across the country and each member brings a wealth of cricket knowledge and experience, supporting the objectives and aspirations of USA Cricket’s vision for the women’s game.

The Women’s Selection Panel will collaborate closely with the USA Cricket Committee and staff to ensure seamless integration of talent identification and selection processes. The selection panel’s insights and recommendations will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of women’s cricket in the USA.

The first duty of the selection panel would be to identify the best women players across the country in preparation for the ICC Americas Women’s T20 Qualifier due to be held in September in the USA.

USA Cricket thanks outgoing selection panel members Ritesh Kadu and Deepali Rokade for their services to USA Cricket and contributions to the development of women’s cricket in the USA.
